Ted Murday, PE

Ted Murday
Principal / Director of Engineering

Ted has called the DFW area home for the past 40 years. From an early age, he has enjoyed the challenges of designing and building new ideas. He began honing his leadership skills while earning the Eagle Scout award, and by high school his coursework already had him on a career path toward engineering. He attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering in 1994. Ted’s early work experience included survey and FAA facilities design. He would later join Carter and Burgess (now Jacobs) as an engineering team leader and civil project manager, spending the next 5 years overseeing various retail and distribution projects across the nation. Ted came to Adams Engineering & Development Consultants in September of 2003, where he currently serves as the Director of Engineering. He oversees many facets of project design, ensuring that the plans are accurate and meet the needs of the client. He utilizes more than 25 years of experience in the land development field to deliver quality projects on demanding schedules. His expertise includes roadway, residential, K-12, retail, and parks projects for both public and private sector clients. Ranging from 2-acre restaurants to 200 acre distribution centers, Ted is comfortable with the very diverse design challenges that these projects represent.
